Sunset Grill & Haagen Dazs

This place is super ulu!

These were taken on the 22nd of Nov, the day before my last paper. Due to the exam stress, i asked bf to bring me for dinner, & we decided upon Sunset Grill for dinner as I've wanted to visit this place badly, for a very long time already.

This place is located inside the Seletar camp. It's at the roundabout at Jalan Kayu/SLE(TPE) flyover. I know 168, 86, 103, 39 will stop by that place. but dont be insane, it'll be at least a 20-30 min walk to this place, so unless u have a car, i would strongly advise against dining at this area, because it's way out of place, pretty deep inside the camp. they have this tree i think it looked horrifying with the lights, LOL.Deep fried mushrooms = $14.50.

The price is a little steep for button mushrooms, but this is really good! the outer layer is crisp & the mushrooms were juicy. even after leaving it there for awhile, it didnt turn soggy or 'lau hong', still tasted pretty fresh. certainly better than Jerry's Grill's. & this is what they are famous for, & what i'm lusting for. Buffalo Wings = $20.50 a dozen. The price depends on the spiciness of the wings. The spicier it is, the steeper it is. our is level #5.

I am a chilli lover & i have a pretty high tolerance for Spicy food. yet i find level 5 already pretty hot. But of course i can still take it because i love o burn my throat & tongue. i would definitely try #7 the next time :D or maybe just chiong it's #10. HAHA.

Eating out here can be pretty extravagrant. So i suggest to come here in a bigger group so that you may enjoy a greater variety of stuff they offer. prices of main courses range from high $10 to low $30. mostly around $25 for a main course.
the best part was that they give a whole jug of iced water to you. It's for people like boyfriend who can't take the challenge. WAHAH. He finished the whole jug off. I merely drank a glass in whole. :D *Standing proud*
nice mushrooms!
I suppose that means it belongs to the singapore flying club?

Their staff are very helpful, & efficient. I enjoyed dining there! It's one of the very rare occassions that I didnt mind paying more for the service there. HAHA. because now, almost everywhere in Singapore i get super lousy service, & we still are obliged to pay 10% service charge. & i'm damn unhappy about it. F**!
here's an idea to how much the buffalo wings costs. Unfortunately, you can't mix your levels, that means you can't order a dozen of wings with a level #1 & #3 together. i wanna try a #10 though.
Thereafter, we went to Haagen Dazs! & had Waffle+Mango Passionfruit + Rum n' Rasin. Damage was around $15 for this. -.- i know. I think Udders have better waffles & yet cheaper. If not for the fact that they ran out of my strawberry fields, i wouldn't have settled for Haagen Dazs! LOL.
They even have sushi Ice Cream! haha!
& a wide selection..They even have christmas special! White Chocolate Raspberry!
here's more...
and more... Create your combination in 3 Simple steps!

I like their Menu, except that they showed their Strawberry Icecream to be pink, but in actual fact, i went to see the pints, they're not pink at all :/ They're more of white. I wonder why.

& if you dont already know, haagen dazs actually have seasonal flavours (*in the menu it's denoted by the Haagen Dazs logo*), so if you're an experimental person, you may want to drop by Haagen Dazs to see how creative they can be with their flavours!
they also have christmas specials. so colourful!
&lastly, theChocolate Fondue. bf's says he'll bring me here someday. :D again. YAY. i have never really eaten a fondue before. i guess i'd like it.

btw for your info, this will cost $48 :D for this fondue platter here. Please remember to include your 17% gst+ service charge ya. the staff there are damn nice. It's the one along Siglap, near East coast. If you would bother, i would recommend here!
