Ming Jun's 21st!

Mabel's impromptu request for a mahjong game was so sudden! HAHAS! but of course, how do i ever reject a mahjong session? So sorry darling, i know you wanna watch your Barcelona vs Real Madrid game at 4am, but I WANNA PLAY MAHJONG! lol.

你最疼我了!muack muack!

& I remembered Mabel telling me that Ming Jun's birthday was tomorrow, so i quickly went to get him a gift. It was just a simple gift so i hope he likes it! It's something practical la. HAHA!

& UNFORTUNATELY, birthday boy was not in luck, given that it's not officially his birthday yet. He lost $18 to me & Mabel lost $4 to me, & darling lost $9 to me. I'm the biggest winner of the night & i really have to brag about this. WAHAHAA!

I think it's not so safe for all of you to play mahjong with me these days, & i strongly advise against it hahaha! U'll lose terribly.

& MingJun invited us over to his place for his super low-profile celebration! & it feels special to be one of the few to get to celebrate his birthday! Apparently he have alot of wishes to be fulfilled because he wished for a good 1-2 mins. HAHAS!
Dont be fooled by that shirt. HAHAS!
These pretty cupcakes are very delightful! :D
Looks very happy yeah!
Don't ask me what happened to hk's eye
yay! & we went for the nice prata after that. :D

HOPE MINGJUN & MABEL ENJOY THEIR DAY AT EQUINOX TOMORROW! bless the good people!

Malaysia Trip 29nov

Haha, no more losing of passport, because i'm super cautious with it now. :D & thanks to Kaiwei's sis & bf, we get to go Malaysia in a car!

The first night we went was mahjong with dajie & James! I think we won $1 rm, or was it a tie? I'm not that sure. This was the second day, when i put bian bian to sleep, & we went out! :D HAHA! Sorry Bian bian, can't bring you out because mummy is afraid that u'll stink when we come back!
We had Bakutteh on the first day! People present was Patrick, Kai wei, Han Inn, Koon Phi, Nicole, LipHai & I!
Yummy! Ba Kut Teh & Ai Yu Ice! It's some Sweet-sour Jelly.
after breakfast, i pestered them to bring me to buy my fav chewing gum! WAHAHA!

But we forgot to go to the christmas Deco shop to check things out for my mini christmas tree :(
Then, we went to have kaiwei's favourite Ice Kachang. Their icekachang is quite cool because they smear chocolate syrup on top of it, & their ice is damn fine. They are also pretty generous with the condensed milk which makes it extra tasty!

Not to mention the heavy serving of corn which i love most was crunchy & fresh in every mouthful i take. Yum Yum.

I wonder why is Singapore dessert stalls so stingy with the corn. I mean, how much can it cost right? :/
This is the crispy toasted beancurd skin stuffed with beansprout & peanuts. Not bad! I've ate it on other occassions & it tastes awesome!
At night, we went to Senibong to eat their Nasi lemak! Wahah! All of us have been here except for darling. We went there to show him some good food. Heh! NOOB!
This is the Rendang chicken. Their rice is really nice. Once you put the rice into your mouth, the smell of pandan blasts within your mouth!
& satay!
I wanted to eat 20 piece nuggets, & so Andy drove me there! wahaha! Probably the only comfort in Malaysia's quality is in their Macdonalds' excellent service. I was informed that we have to wait for 4 mins for our orders, & the staff gave us 2 small cups of Coke while we waited! I was appalled by their initiative to satisfy us like that. Thumbs up for good service!

We then went to Patrick's house for Mahjong! I won 29RM. My luck was damn good! You'd wish it was Sing dollars though. But come to think of it, 29RM is not alot, because over the year, I've lost more than $100 in mahjong games already, this is like probably my first big winning. my average loss in games are like $10 SGD per game. So this is peanuts. I need to win more to cover 'losses'. LOL. ohno. i'm a gambler. HAHA! & we went for Lok lok for supper!
they got an awesome selection!
The uncle is very friendly!
the food we took before kaiwei called to call us over to the other side. :( The uncle has got bacon&mushrooms which the other side didnt have. So sad.
darling boiling the quail eggs.
the uncle was so friendly! see! he looks like a laughing buddha!
there was a miscommunication, & so we went to another place with lok lok.

da jie & james! Dajie is so pretty! & i have a fav game. when kai wei & dajie are together i like to ask people. "Who do you think is the elder one?" HHAHAHAS!
The food is damn oily, because they fried it. I prefer the other side because they grill it instead!
patrick & his dog. Ironically his dog is named “小白” don't ask me why. HAHAS!

& we watched Harry Potter 7 part I. I'm not a harry potter fan, so i'm not so sure if the movie ended up well. I shall keep the comments to myself. :)
They have a fruit stall where the fruits are cut and you just have to put onto the scale & pay for the amount you took. It's a damn good system. I like!
pat & kai wei & carmen at the stall!

& I love my chewing gums! because they now have this cube chewing gum which is damn soft! but pretty expensive though. LOL.

The end! Hope darling had fun! It's our first trip out of singapore together! HAHAHAS!

Friday night!

I wonder why Singapore doesn't have a Black Friday too. Black Friday is a day whereby in US they have stores with slashed prices & day for steals. I'm not sure if it's just the states or does the european countries have too. I didn't bother to find out. I'm only concerned if there's a possibility that Singapore will have it too. HAHA.

& i'm delighted that Ashika & Martin called me from New York! So cool! Yes, this is my first Overseas Call. So today shall be marked special. Special days for special people! HAHA.
at night was waraku with Kai wei, Mabel, Xuemin & Joanna!
actually my hair should have 2 shades because my new hair grew & i didnt dye my hair again. HAHA! i WANNA DYE RED. but my dad objects. :/ not that i dont have the autonomy to do whatever i want, but i want dad to be happy too. &he doesnt like red heads.

I wonder why, because he loves to wear Red undergarments. He thinks it's a lucky colour. LOL!
Jo is damn hot tonight, because she's gonna go clubbing. LOL.
they have these pretty trees outside Heeren. a tree made of Ferrero Rocher. Fake ones of course. But i genuinely hope it'd be real & one that i can actually pluck & eat like a fruit. HAHA
Not a fan of ferrero though. But it's chocolates. I love chocolates.
Beauty trees!
& we were like tourists for the day. LOL.
if you haven;t been to orchard, this is how it looks like. Same kind of crowd, but more deepavali-like with the lights and all. Kaiwei said this year they did a 3 colour concept, pink near the far east area, blue at the centre portion around paragon, and purple towards somerset.
& because my Capitaland voucher that i got from Happybunch's christmas exchange from last year is gonna expire on the 10th December, i decided to spend it. I got this chocolates from some Jap shop in Ion Orchard.

It costs $23 + for a box of 18 pieces so technically speaking it's like $1+ per piece. it's some white chocolate biscuit sandwich which is damn famous in Japan. But it's not as good as the other brand, the more famous one called "白色恋人".

I got it for darling because i didnt bring him out today. Aww, poor thing. Hope he likes it!

Sunset Grill & Haagen Dazs

This place is super ulu!

These were taken on the 22nd of Nov, the day before my last paper. Due to the exam stress, i asked bf to bring me for dinner, & we decided upon Sunset Grill for dinner as I've wanted to visit this place badly, for a very long time already.

This place is located inside the Seletar camp. It's at the roundabout at Jalan Kayu/SLE(TPE) flyover. I know 168, 86, 103, 39 will stop by that place. but dont be insane, it'll be at least a 20-30 min walk to this place, so unless u have a car, i would strongly advise against dining at this area, because it's way out of place, pretty deep inside the camp. they have this tree i think it looked horrifying with the lights, LOL.Deep fried mushrooms = $14.50.

The price is a little steep for button mushrooms, but this is really good! the outer layer is crisp & the mushrooms were juicy. even after leaving it there for awhile, it didnt turn soggy or 'lau hong', still tasted pretty fresh. certainly better than Jerry's Grill's. & this is what they are famous for, & what i'm lusting for. Buffalo Wings = $20.50 a dozen. The price depends on the spiciness of the wings. The spicier it is, the steeper it is. our is level #5.

I am a chilli lover & i have a pretty high tolerance for Spicy food. yet i find level 5 already pretty hot. But of course i can still take it because i love o burn my throat & tongue. i would definitely try #7 the next time :D or maybe just chiong it's #10. HAHA.

Eating out here can be pretty extravagrant. So i suggest to come here in a bigger group so that you may enjoy a greater variety of stuff they offer. prices of main courses range from high $10 to low $30. mostly around $25 for a main course.
the best part was that they give a whole jug of iced water to you. It's for people like boyfriend who can't take the challenge. WAHAH. He finished the whole jug off. I merely drank a glass in whole. :D *Standing proud*
nice mushrooms!
I suppose that means it belongs to the singapore flying club?

Their staff are very helpful, & efficient. I enjoyed dining there! It's one of the very rare occassions that I didnt mind paying more for the service there. HAHA. because now, almost everywhere in Singapore i get super lousy service, & we still are obliged to pay 10% service charge. & i'm damn unhappy about it. F**!
here's an idea to how much the buffalo wings costs. Unfortunately, you can't mix your levels, that means you can't order a dozen of wings with a level #1 & #3 together. i wanna try a #10 though.
Thereafter, we went to Haagen Dazs! & had Waffle+Mango Passionfruit + Rum n' Rasin. Damage was around $15 for this. -.- i know. I think Udders have better waffles & yet cheaper. If not for the fact that they ran out of my strawberry fields, i wouldn't have settled for Haagen Dazs! LOL.
They even have sushi Ice Cream! haha!
& a wide selection..They even have christmas special! White Chocolate Raspberry!
here's more...
and more... Create your combination in 3 Simple steps!

I like their Menu, except that they showed their Strawberry Icecream to be pink, but in actual fact, i went to see the pints, they're not pink at all :/ They're more of white. I wonder why.

& if you dont already know, haagen dazs actually have seasonal flavours (*in the menu it's denoted by the Haagen Dazs logo*), so if you're an experimental person, you may want to drop by Haagen Dazs to see how creative they can be with their flavours!
they also have christmas specials. so colourful!
&lastly, theChocolate Fondue. bf's says he'll bring me here someday. :D again. YAY. i have never really eaten a fondue before. i guess i'd like it.

btw for your info, this will cost $48 :D for this fondue platter here. Please remember to include your 17% gst+ service charge ya. the staff there are damn nice. It's the one along Siglap, near East coast. If you would bother, i would recommend here!
