Burger on the street

is this like a prank? We saw a burger on the road while making our way to Parkway parade! HAHAHA!

THEN, we had MOS burger. oh yay! i love mos burger! :D

with regards to the recent racket over Singapore's "Soft soldier" who made his maid carry his army stuff, who is really at fault to make this major enough to be featured on international platforms? BBC News (this made to international news, link here)

I have this 'friend' on facebook, he facebooked the above, which i could never agree upon regardless of whatever reasons, that the poor soldier had to shoulder all the blame for our embarassment to make such headlines to international news.

Yes, it's a big deal. to make his maid carry his fieldpack. But then again, who was the one who allowed this to be even posted online? Singaporeans. specifically the one who sent this in to STOMP. & of course, the organisation, responsible for releasing pieces of news that our fellow Singaporeans leech upon to satisfy their insatiable hunger for gossip & controversy.

Don't be mistaken. I'm not saying that the NSF wasn't at fault. I'm just saying it's unfair to say that it is he who embarrassed Singapore, because everyone in the society had a part to play, & it IS REALLY, the 'kaypoh-ness' of the people, the overly-unhealthy curiousity; the poor foundations of morals the society built upon which led to this.

& anyway, seems that such unworthy gossip is not epic enough, not even a 2-day consecutive headline material that everything had died down already.

So, just hope that our fellow people would be more tolerant towards each other. Don't be too quick to judge, becuase there may really be a reason why people do wrong. & people who succumb to finger-pointing too easily should really be more retrospective. You're not perfect either.

& of course, those who did wrong should repent & hopefully do not repeat history again. :D

As for that facebook friend. He's only a 'friend' like i stated from the start. there's really not much value to this friendship in the first place. disappointments.

then again. i believe in change.

unplanned date - Bark Cafe

It is located just beside Singapore's Historical Changi Museum, more specifically at:

I have brightened the lightings. Thw place would have looked a little darker than this. It is really cosy and the darkness is probably just enough for you to view their menu and your partner's faces. It sort of gives each group their own privacy.

The waiters also walks around, and are very alert to your needs. Their service was excellent!
and where we sat was just beside a patch of garden. (:
I ordered prawns and mussels! This was not originally in the menu. This was supposed to be:

Mussels and Scallop Aglio Olio, Spaghetti sauteed with mussels, scallops, onion, garlic, chili padi, corriander and olive oil. $17.90

I had it changed and it tasted awesome! Very flavourful!
& this was what boyfriend ordered:

Russian Chicken: Grilled Chicken thigh with berb Oriental Vodka mixed cream sauce. Served with roasted potato by the side. $18.90

The chicken was grilled to perfection that the meat was tender and juicy. the vodka sauce was not too overpowering, in fact, there wasn't a very alcoholic taste to begin with. the sauce was a very special concoction, something that you wouldn't get to taste elsewhere! Exotic!
this chicken was one of their speciality, but i wouldn't really recommend it though. It didn't taste that special except that when it was served, it was piping hot & crispy! The very attentive waiters hurriedly gave us a stack of serviettes when they saw we decided to forgo the very civilian was of eating with knives and fork to use our bare hands instead!

How sweet of them!

therefore, i would definitely recommend this place for a night of chilling. They do serve a wide variety of alcohol. There's a bar within the restaurant itself and it's alfresco. Not airconditioned at all, yet, it's pretty cooling because there's no surrounding buildings & there's a garden by the cafe! :D

Just a peek into my veggie samurai high scores! My 55 dice chain was so unexpected! It gives you 725 points i think. LOL! but i died as fast as 3 mins in the game. sadly. The dice chains really pay well, but also costs you alot!

What stands in better than chocolates in alleviating stress during studying? Especially when reading literature with an empty head & taking everything in the literal sense?

Lol. I read this somewhere. I'm loosely defined as a musician, since i can play so many insturments. So I assume i'm sexier? HAHAHAHAS!

What a lousy ego boost. LOL. I think i should just go running to burn off those fats. More realistic than to just assume based on some random facts.

Facebook always gives me some weird enlightenment on random stuffs. LOL. & just nice, these names appeared together on the facebook page. & i thought,

All ah lians / ah lian wannabe put their facebook names like that. Their Name, followed by a string of words connected & punctuating their words with xczxczxczxc. like thizxzxzxzs. LOL.

& yes, i bring along my ultra big bottle of Evian spray, becuase they're perfect for a cycling trip to perk you & your skin up after the sweaty perspiration mess on your face the unruly sweat glands & oily glands are at play. YAY to the beach. (: I'm scared of the ocean, & i run up the shore every time the tide washes up until my knees. It's high tide at 5 + pm. & if i didn't run, I'd be washed away i swear! LOL.

Unfortunately, soon after we returned the bike, it was pouring. Massive rain! & hk & i ran to Macs, drenched like chickens thrown into rivers.

Before i move on, wanted to bring your attention to this! This looks damn fun! But it's freaking ex! I had my bicycle for $6 for 3 hours! FREAKING CHEAP! on weekdays only okay. Weekends are $8 for 2 hours!!!

But this trishaw like thingy costs $34! for 90 mins only! but it sits 4 people la. So it's a good idea to share $$ & try this thing out (:

okay, i believe i touched on the fact that i like the shore (:

& look at this! ECP's macs was flooded! U can imagine how big the rain was! & the poor boy's shoe was like submerged 4cm deep!

& thereafter, we went to pick up a few books at the library on New York's places of attraction. :D

i'M EGGcited. (& yeah, this word is now in the trend. i don't know why but it's fun to use it anyway. LOL )

like finally

life hasn't been good for the past few days, but lucky i have a boyfriend who's willing to stand by me all day. He bought me popeyes while i'm at home nursing my wounds. & It has been the best theraphy i can ever get.

& the following day, i finally get to eat this Han Kee Fish Soup from Amoy Street Food centre!!! When i used to work in town, this stall is always the last stall u will want to queue because by the time you get to buy it, u'll be so late for work already. ): There's always such a long queue!

BUT TODAY, i get to eat it because i went there as early as 10.30am. HAHA. usually by 11.30am you can forget about queuing for this. It's on the 2nd level. You may want to try! But i still think the Golden Shoe Fish soup is the best!

& I get darling's company for the whole of today (: felt so loved!

Funny how things turn out.

For the first time in my life, i feel suicidal not because of love relationships but because I hate someone so much, I want him to regret & live with the guilt forever.

& of all people. It has to be my elder brother. Then again, after thinking twice, Why should I be surprised? It has always been this way.

& it's gonna be worth it. the many people who would hate him for it. Even those who would forgive him for it will escalate the guilt, assuming he still has a heart which i highly believe so.

I'm not sane. For now at least. but i've used my triumph card to see how things go. 21 years of kinship, sporadic instances of favour, shared jokes & laughter have been sacrificed since. Now it's either dad save the day, or let this result in a bloodbath.

Either way, i know i'm not at a losing end. I always have the upperhand. Couldnt be more sure of my winning streak(s).
