Elaine's birthday at Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant

it's Elaine's birthday! i bought her a Longchamp bag & here's birthday girl with a smile!
dad brought us to Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant! YAY! i've been wanting to eat this for the longest time ever... *drool*

This place is at the Turf Club City, if i am not wrong, it is located at the previous turf club.

what's best about this place is that you get to 'catch' your own seafood! just walk a few steps down the lane, you'll see a live seafood market which supplies the fresh, living seafood for the restaurant. & i dont know WTF is a Geoduck clam. Apparently it's freaking expensive!
the crabs are so freaking big, 3 of them is enough to make up the height of me squatting down.
& there is dad, brother & sister-in-law with Xavier baby at the market selecting our seafood (:
boyfriend showing the 'thumbs up' sign! HAHAHAS! what a loser pose?!
live frogs & some crab whichs looks funny & is not for sale.
here's our feast! a freaking fresh red garoupa steamed. I swallowed the whole thing!
& dad ordered 3 of their most expensive abalone. $100++ each!
Madness. but dad claims the cartwheel abalone can brand is better. LOL. because it's freaking tough!
the menu says ham prawns. but i dont see the ham. HAHAA.
i think crystal jade's mapo tofu is way better. it just tastes different. but this is not that bad too.
chilli crab. (:
stirfried kailan w humongous scallop. heaven.
again, crystal jade's mango pudding is better. I think we should go to crystal jade next time. HAHA. but crystal jade is more expensive! their coke costs $4.5! here it costs $3 only!
new boyfriend. LOL.
pict w dad! (:
Damage is $592.62. we're always burning a hole in dad's pocket. but i love it when dad insists that we shouldnt scrimp on food. It's a necessity. Ironic that he dont see extravagrant meals as extravagrant. So it's good fortune for our stomach! YAY.

i love daddY!

Unfortunately, Kaiwei missed out on this meal. Again. ):

pre-Christmas xchange!

Recommended by Joanna to come to this place at the Central @ Clarke Quay! The ambience is pretty good, dim lightings & modern Jap outlook. you may also choose to have your meal al fresco. But we settled for the airconditioning & a valentine's day setting.
The food here. I had the most expensive Chawanmushi (bottom left pict) ever! mine costs about $11 for crabmeat chawanmushi. the egg isnt as fragrant as the one i had in the paragon though. that was like the best chawanmushi i ever tasted. I haven't tried their main courses (top left*right pict). So i wouldnt comment further on it.
you may want to try their tofu cheesecake! it is not a cheesecake made of tofu. Instead, it is a cheesecake with a tofu texture! it's quite interesting, & tastes not bad. but i still prefer the conventional ones. HAHA.

Presentation wise, it's very unique i would say!
all of us got our presents!
& yay~! xchange complete. I got this butterfly bling bracelet! the butterflies are very pretty! :D
& Jo happens to be my 'buddy'. OH HOW LUCKY YEAH?!
group pic, group pic (:
hahhas! dont know where is kai wei looking. LOL

& Jo finally appears with the santa hat i put in her package! (:

I love christmas xchanges! it's the only time you get a present in return. HAHHAAS! & LOTS OF LOVE + FUN + LAUGHTER + MYSTERY + ENTERTAINMENT.

Christofori Showroom

Christofori boasted about their mega piano showroom, so my darling took me there today! It is located at

#02-2148,
3014 Bedok Industrial Park E
(S)489980

& they really have alot of pianos!
& i happily played on their grand piano. I want one! :/

& Yuxiang came along too!
Tried playing on their super expensive violin collection.
forgot what was the occassion but i met kaiwei, & Jun Kai at Dhoby Ghaut to eat Just Acia (: but this branch sucks. food is cold, & we saw a manager putting one of her employees down without a hint of compassion. Like publicly? Doubt anybody likes to see that. It puts people off.

& a very cute forced smile! I like!
best friend to end the day off. :D yay!

Nokia Ovi Workshop!

This was my first time attending a Nuffnang event! & it seems no one else i knew was going, so i had to go alone. But what fueled my courage to go ahead was the gruesome fact that i would otherwise be at home alone facing the walls & doing nothing because i've run out of dramas to watch/lost the interest to watch more.

so when i was invited to join this event i gladly RSVP-ed.

It's a Nokia workshop by this very handsome guy Mr elliot & he went through with us the idiotproof steps to creating our very own application to be put on the Ovi Store!
& these are the very fundamental reasons why it is beneficial for us to have our application (:
creation in progress
& i've known 2 new friends! they're both cosmetics reviewers! Rachel & Patricia.
& we took a picture with Mr Elliot!
& went home with a pretty doorgift :D I had a great time! & i'm so excited about my very own application on Ovi Store!
Thereafter, my very sweet boyfriend took me out to Udders for a icecream treat! & they finally have my Strawberry Fields.
& i left my blog address & logo on the grafitti walls. HAHA.
Their information card is hilarious. "Eh.. STOP LOOKING AT MY BACKSIDE." lol.
Welcome to Udders! ahhaha!

Marche & our monthsaries

First stop of the day was Marche! & Happy monthsary darling! I love you! :Dfirst we went to order ourselves a Rosti!
& also a crepe! the crepe is not bad just that i like it with more meat stuffings!
PICTURE OF THE DAY (:
& we went along to try the tako ball along ION orchard food basement. it's very nice! but it's not piping hot. what a shame. they cooked too much at once & took it out of the stove for too long while the poor cashier struggles with overwhelming orders he cant handle. so the poor tako balls were stranded in cardbos plates & left there to cool.

& what we got is a disappointing could-be-better tako balls.

Cant deny that the octopus were fresh though (:
& the next day, we went to a stall along Geylang to get our christmas decoration loots! there's this shop along Geylang right opposite the Rochor Tau Huey stall which sells really cheap christmas deco stuff. Christmas hats 2 only $0.70 each. Medium bling balls at only $1.50 for a pack of 6. & a pack of 18 mini mock presents @ $1.50 only too!

What a steal! :D

Thereafter was a ripoff from this Teochew porridge stall which charged us $16 for porridge & food. Too overpriced. & variety was minimal. Sian. So i decided not to patronise that stall anymore! I would love good recommendations (:

because i love porridge. YUMMY!

New Home!

Went to view this showroom flat in Toa Payoh HDB hub.

Brother has gotten an apartment at woodlands! yay! so this is gonna be my new home! in 5 years time! but i love my present home's location more. :/

i like the layout of this room. it also has a gigantic mirror! i'm so gonna paste one to my walls! WAHAHA.
& at night, elaine & i had Yami Yoghurt! omg. sweet!
