my first Wilton buttercream icing class

I went for my baking class for the very first time! This place was introduced by Carmen & so i decided to go for classes with her. (:
so for the first lesson, we were taught how to make the icing & how to ice the cake! see this is so awesome!
As we have yet to learn how to make the icing, we bought the Wilton White Decorator Icing & coloured them!

& we learnt how to use the tip 18 to do these pretty star shapes, how convenient using a coupler is so that we can change tips without changing our filled icing bags.

Tip for doing the star: release pressure before pulling the icing off to not get that 'sharp tip'
we also learnt how to use piping gel to transfe pictures onto the cake! so fun!
our first lesson came with this starter pack with couplers, icing bags, practise board with templates to teach us how to do the various decorations & standard/common shapes!
at night, my darling was so awesome! he bought me this mini monopoly keychain with real game pieces consisting of 2 dices & a metal dog & wagon (i think)! this is awfully cute! however in the packaging it promised a bag of money however i was pretty disappointed that they did not deliver it.

HOW CAN THEY DO THAT. i would have bought something else that i can really play with! :/, like a mini twister.

therefore,in order to appease me from the scam purchase (ya i like it but not totally...), we went to Geylang Lorong 9 to have our usual dose of Frog porridge! Yummy! i like it better with dried chilli, somehow anything with chilli tastes better. :D
