my very cute dad bought this 40 packs because it he claimed that it was "cheap". LOL. $82 !!!! WTF?! cute dad sial!

& #2, he love to cook for me. & he cooked my fav turnip dish, yummy! i love it! he's great cook. u know!?!!! & more prawns! woohoo~~~~ though when i said i liked prawns, he cooked all dishes with prawns, 0 for creativty but 200% *muacks* for love, effort & for being the way he is right now.

how do i live without you~~~~! LOL.

whatever it is, i wish my dad was immortal.

& because he is so great, i never want to grow up. i want to be a daddy's girl, forever.

English Lesson #2

Here's some food for your thoughts :)

The expression "He don't care" is wrong. Do you know why?!

well the key to learning is to ask. so please ask if u dont know why! LOL! ( i'm betting that wee cat definitely dont know! hahas!)

& therefore, what is the correct way to express this phrase?

English Lesson #1

I've realised that there is an inherent problem in the use of the correct forms of words in various circumstances/situations. Therefore, i want to highlight some of the usual errors which many of us make. It's never too late to learn, & don't feel bad because i was also once guilty of it years back & you dont want to embarrass yourself in future when people actually would laugh at your ignorance.

#1 : This vs These :

"This" can be an/a

• adjective (words to describe nouns)/
• Pronouns (words used before a noun eg this boy or this is john)
• Adverb (shall not touch on this as its not relevant currently)

& according to dictionary.com, "This" is used to indicate a person, thing, state, event, time, remark...etc. & "These" is the plural form.

Therefore, keep in mind that whenever you choose to use words relating to more than 1 quantity, use THESE!

1. this year vs these years
2. this (referring to the collection rather than the items) is my hello kitty collection & These (refers to every all items you collected) are my collection of hello kitty items,
3. this pair of shoe is mine! & these shoes are mine!

Again, according to dictionary.com:

Then is an

• Adverb &
• Adjective &
• Noun (shall not touch on this)

Primarily, "Then" is some kind of 'time indicator' to

1. to express sequence of events -> We ate, then we started home
2. or referring to a particular period something happened -> prices were lower then

Whereby Than is a

• Conjunction (connectors in a sentence eg and, but..)

It is used to compare between objects or qualities

1. John is better looking than Shaun.
2. he can run faster than her

Mad about America

There's something wrong with my eye. I feel as if there's this piece of glass stuck in my eye. so i cant exactly close it at all. it's not excruciating, it's more of disturbing. Therefore, i couldnt fall asleep. & that amounts up to a good tormenting 27 hours of consciousness.

By night time, i was angry & frustrated. yet, i still had to teach tuition. Boyfriend not picking up the phone as there's no reception. Back home, I slammed my room door, cried, threatened brother to do the 'da-bao-ing' for tomorrow's meals, got dad to beat brother. but all these did little to appease my ruptured suppressed emotions.

Good thing boyfriend cabbed down to my place immediately. He was immediate cure.

prior to my angry episode, i've tried to sound dad out. I said "Dad, i wanna go America"
his unexpected reply was "O, u going with Hwee Kiat ar? Go lor, go lor, i pay for the both of you la!"

at this point, i was already grinning, but i composed myself to test the reality of what he just said. i went "but papa, the air tix is damn ex u know! it's like about $3k!!!!"
he said, "never mind la! at most next time then your return me if u feel bad about it"

I HAVE THE BEST DAD IN THE WHOLE WORLD. (SPONSOR BF SOMEMORE, WOAH!)

BECAUSE HE MADE MY AMERICA DREAM COME TRUE.

So if time permits, i'd be expecting to visit my Bath & Body works & prob buy all the products off their shevles! HAHAS! & there's forever 21, Macy's, Fifth Avenue, Apple, Niagara Falls, Central Park, Victoria Secrets, Saks, see the legendary humonguous Walmarts, Amercrombie & Fitch, Factory Outlets & probably a few short trips to Las Vegas, Manhattan, Philadelphia, California, Florida.

Plus free lodging i'd be expecting at Martin's place. :D double the joy. WAHAHa!

But lets tune back to reality right now. 19 Days to Exams. I'm gonna try to work things out, because time is really not to my advantage right now. Gosh!

monday fever

woke up for a toilet rush. tomyum & red curry to aggravagate the burning stomach. scorching hot, but i liked the sensation anyhow.

learned how to Tweet thanks to Jo. finally decided to set up an account after months of procrastination. i'm really lazy to set all these things up. yet i'm never lazy to maintain the contact with people so i'm pretty sure i wont go out of touch.

i want a getaway. I want a US or Europe trip.badly! i've been thinking about it for the longest time ever, and especially that day when i told dad about my purchase of a new laptop (yeah i finally got myself one), that costs $1,600, he said "i'd even give you $16,000 if you asked for!"

Then, i thought proably costs arent a barrier anymore. I could get a loan, or even get a sponsored trip, to materialise my material dream. Not that i dont have the financing myself, but i could manage better with more help.

Actual 21st birthday

Went to Akashi's to have our Lunch w Besties! Kai wei helped me celebrated 1 birthday for the second time! LOL! This Jiamin would never come out unless its some big day, luckily my bday is BIG enough for her to come out. LOL... need to create more important days to see her, so Kai Wei! when u marrying?! HAHAHS!

Next up, daddy wanna help me celebrate my birthday! actually wanted to go to some Abalone place to have an abalone for each of us, but my kor kor insisted that we should eat zi char instead (:/ as if its his b'day @#$^%&%$#! ) but anyway, we had dinner at Forrest @ Orchidville, its somewhere along Mandai road, near the Zoo!

the ambience was good, but i hate orange lightings. its more like a super romantic dinner, LOL. & its so unromantic when its with your family!

that's spicy tofu, prawn omelette, mango prawn balls, shark fin, brocolli mushroom, sweet and sour pork & garlic pork. THEY DONT HAVE CRABBIES!!! that's regret of the day. but anyway their other dishes were good, just that its a little pricey for this kinda spread, it amounted to about $200!

sang a birthday song (: There was a Rhino, so i decided with that stupid picture! HAHAS~ ! & I LIKED THE BALLS OF LIGHTS HANGING AROUND EVERYWHERE! & there was this "adam & eve" -like passageway so i took a pict with my darling!

My 21st!

My life is full of very touching stories created by the very special people i met, and this is like one of the most incredible events that my very very very very x999999 best friend Kai Wei & 史上最疼我的 boyfriend MrKohhweekiat who planned this for me.

Till now, i'm still kept in the dark as to when this was exactly planned, or who was involved, who did what, but it's not as important to know details to the very last bit, as i think i just have to know that these people, who were actually there to help out and even be there, are the ones who really care. I've really enjoyed every single bit of it, and know that your efforts are very much appreciated by me! :D

bian bian & i! we camwhored after he got his things done at the carpark of his sergeant's house. the meters were pretty cool eh! i totally dont know what kind of expression that is. LOL. my bian bian (:action eh! =p

& darling was like the best. we played mini mahjong, & he could have won, but he allowed me to win my 大三元 when he already 自摸 a 9-tai tile. he would give in to me on everything, if i wanted. to have him was like the best thing in my life.
